here is my first handmade dress! it's made from some of the fabric i ordered and posted about last week. it's not perfect, but i like it. i learned so much making it and can't wait to get started on my next one. 
i downloaded this free pattern from burdastyle -- a really great sewing community website with lots of free patterns and projects. the one i chose was the "coffee date dress".
